According to the leak, the iQoo phone can be unfolded into a tablet. Once opened, the device will feature two screens and when conjoined together, it will form a tablet. In the image, it can also be seen that when the device is folded into a smartphone, it has four icon columns on the screen. Furthermore, it can be seen that the smartphone will come with an almost bezel-less front panel and since there are no holes for the front-facing sensor, it is being assumed that the device would come with a pop-up selfie camera.
The iQoo foldable phone is tipped to be priced around CNY 5,000, which becomes approximately Rs 53,000 upon conversion. However, as of now, there is no word on when exactly Vivo’s sub-brand iQoo will launch the foldable phone. Although the images have surfaced on Weibo, the company has not officially said anything about the launch or availability of the upcoming smartphone. Speaking of foldable smartphones, Samsung is going to launch its foldable smartphone at the on February 20 at its Unpacked event in San Francisco. The foldable smartphone will reportedly be called Samsung Galaxy F and will work like a tablet as well as a smartphone. Previous reports suggest that the Samsung Galaxy F will come with a 7.3-inch display and have a resolution of 1,536×2,152 pixels. Once folded the display of the phone becomes 4.58-inches in size.
