The design of the Motorola Edge 30 Pro is speculated to differ from the X30 but the processor is expected to remain the same. The report stated that the global and India launch of Motorola Edge 30 Pro is expected to happen in February. The upcoming smartphone is said to arrive in India under a different name than it did in China, where it debuted as the Moto Edge X30. They may be rebranded for the nation and would bear a new design. If the rumours are to be believed then except for the design Motorola Edge 30 Pro specifications will be similar to Moto Edge X30. It is likely to have a 6.8-inch full-HD+ POLED display with 1,080×2,400 pixels of resolution. The screen could offer a 144Hz refresh rate, 20:9 aspect ratio, 144Hz refresh rate, and HDR10+ support. The device might be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB of onboard UFS 3.1 storage. Additionally, the smartphone may come preloaded with Android 12 based MYUI 3.0. The Motorola Edge 30 Pro is likely to feature a triple back camera configuration for photographs and movies, including a 50-megapixel OmniVision’s OV50A40 main sensor. There’s also a 50-megapixel wide-angle camera and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. In addition, the phone could boast a front-facing 60-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls. It is expected to include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth v5.2, and a USB Type-C connector for communication. The phone might also include a fingerprint sensor on the side.
